Briny Breezes is governed by a 5 person board of Alderpeople and a directly elected Mayor. The city hires a Town Attorney, Town Clerk and other staff to assist with the administration of municipal functions. City Hall is open on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9am to noon and can be reached at (561) 272-5495.

Application Guidelines
In order to be a candidate for this position, please follow these three simple steps: 1) Contact the election administrator (for city/town/village positions the city clerk, and for all others, the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections) to make sure you qualify for the position. Certain positions have residency, professional certification, and other requirements. 2) Fill out the necessary documents, which may include the Appointment of Campaign Treasurer and Designation of Campaign Depository (DS-DE9) Statement of Candidacy (DS-DE 84 form) with the qualifying officer, and Candidate Oath of Nonpartisan Office (DS-DE 25). WARNING: Some filings may only be accepted until noon on the day filing ends, so contact the election administrator to verify the time filing closes. Some positions may requre a candidacy fee. Be mindful about the filing window as it is often brief and late papers will not be accepted.
