The Orange County Clerk of Courts maintains more than 41 million digital court documents, as well as millions of paper records for the 9th Judicial Circuit Court—numbers that grow each day. As the Information Hub of the Justice System, the my eClerk website provides online access to millions of the court records we manage. Customers go to the Clerk of Courts office to pay traffic and criminal fines, initiate or contest a civil case, pursue probate issues and make child support payments. The Clerk of Courts helps customers file domestic violence injunctions and seek help for a loved one with mental health or substance abuse issues. The Clerk of Courts accepts passport applications and issue marriage licenses, and can even perform wedding ceremonies. This is a full time position and the salary starts

Application Guidelines
In order to be a candidate for this position, please follow these three simple steps: 1) Contact the election administrator (for city positions the city clerk, and for all others, the Orange County Supervisor of Elections) make sure you qualify for the position. Certain positions have residency and other requirements. 2) Fill out the necessary documents, including the Statement of Candidacy (DS-DE 84 form) and Statement of Financial Interests (DS-DE 9 form). The filing fee is 3% of the annual salary of the office sought.. The office is open Mondays to Fridays from 8am to 5pm EST. Be mindful about the filing window as it is open for only five consecutive days sometime in June, and the dates vary based on the election date.
