Description
The Governing Board is the official elected body of the College District. Its primary role is to set the overall operating policies of the College District. The Chancellor, who is appointed by the Governing Board, carries out these policies. The five Board members are elected for four year terms by registered voters in geographical divisions.

You must be a U.S. Citizen and be a registered voter for at least 30 days within the district and qualified to vote for that office. 2) Complete the appropriate forms in the Candidate Application Packet. Candidates for School District positions include forms for the filing fee, declaration of candidacy, ballot designation, candidate statement of qualifications, statement of economic interests, and campaign finance disclosure. 3) Submit these forms within the filing window to the Contra Costa County Election Division 555 Escobar St. P.O.
