Description

The Indiana Auditor of State is an elected state executive position in the Indiana state government. The auditor serves as the chief financial officer of the government of Indiana. The auditor serves a four-year term, and is responsible for maintaining all State accounts, which include obligations to other governing bodies and individuals, such as state employee compensation and tax money distribution. The required forms include a Declaration of Candidacy, Nominating Petitions, A Statement of Economic Interest and other office specific forms. 3) To run as an independent, candidates must submit filing forms between January 10th, 2018 (118 days before the primary election) and June 30th, 2018 (June 30th by law) to appear on the general election ballot.
