Description

Water Resources Boards set policy for the public agencies that provide water and/or Natural resources to the local community. These boards are sometimes overlooked as elected positions, but they can have a huge effect on resource management and development within their communities. One thing that should be noted is that the policies and agendas set by the board must comply with other environmental/resource regulations determined by other agencies. Water Resources Boards are a great place for people to get involved in politics if the environment is one of their chief concerns.
