The San Diego County Treasurer has general oversight of the county's financial affairs. County Treasurers often advise the county supervisors and other county officials for questions regarding a county's revenue, spending, and overall municipal funds.

To file for this position follow these three simple steps: 1) Contact the San Diego County Registrar of Voters office to verify that your address qualifies for the position. 2) Obtain the correct filing papers from the county elections office. 3) Submit the filing papers within 113-88 days prior to the election.
