Delaware State Auditor

Description

The Delaware State Auditor is a state executive position in the Delaware state government. The auditor is responsible for providing "evaluations of the State's fiscal accountability and public program performance." The auditor's office performs a comprehensive financial report of the state government, along with individual performance and financial audits of various policies, agencies and projects. The auditor's office is responsible for conducting postaudits of state agencies' financial transactions, a comprehensive annual financial report of the entire state government, and performance audits of other government programs. It also evaluates the management practices of state agencies. The salary for this position is $108,532/year.
